Trying to Conceive

At The Fertile Project, we believe that your fertility is a reflection of your overall health. Our team of professional acupuncturists, naturopaths and osteopaths are dedicated to working with you to create optimal physical, mental and emotional health prior to conception

At The Fertile Project, we take an evidence based approach and provide a supportive, nurturing environment to help you achieve a successful natural or medicated / IVF / DEIVF conception.

We want you to be the most fertile version of yourself, to conceive consciously and achieve the healthiest pregnancy possible.

Baby on Board

You have a baby on the way! Congratulations! A new journey is beginning and we’re here to support you. We love helping our beautiful mums-to-be have a healthy pregnancy to welcome their babies earth-side.

We believe the pregnant body is pure magic with its incredible ability to adapt and withstand the needs of a growing baby and mama. We love our role in helping to ensure our pregnant mumas have the most nourishing food and appropriate nutritional support (not too many pills or potions), to experience less pain and more movement. We want our mums to flourish! Our integrative approach to health during pregnancy involves our team of naturopaths, acupuncturists, osteopaths and nutritionists.

Pelvic Health

Navigating the healthcare system can be challenging, especially in the area of pelvic health, chronic pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction and pediatric bladder and bowel concerns; many suffer in silence, too embarrassed or not sure where to ask for help. The Fertile project have a team of experienced practitioners (including osteopathy – pelvic floor trained, acupuncturists, naturopaths and nutritionists) who will work with you as an integrative approach to help you reach your health goals through pelvic floor assessment and treatment, nutritional and lifestyle advice and hormonal support.

Thyroid Health

“My thyroid has been checked and it’s fine” is a sentence we hear ALL. THE. TIME. It is usually followed by “Your bloods are normal. It’s all in your head. You’re probably just depressed”.

Well, let us tell you, it probably hasn’t (been tested) and it’s usually not (fine).

Thyroid problems interfere with getting pregnant.

One of the most common conditions with far reaching and terrible implications for both physical and mental health is HYPOTHYROIDISM (sluggish thyroid).

General Health

Our practitioners at The Fertile Project have over 80 years combined clinical experience to support not just your fertility journey, but your general health and well being. After all, your fertility is a reflection of your overall health.

Our approach to health is multidisciplinary and integrative ensuring your treatment protocol is tailored just for you.

Digestive Health

“All disease begins in the gut”– Hippocrates

Our brilliant team of Acupuncturists, Naturopaths, Nutritionists and Osteopaths work integratively to support, strengthen and repair common symptoms and conditions that affect our digestive health.

Pain Management

When helping those in pain, our practitioners understand how complex pain management is and how individualised it can be, whether it be dyspareunia (pain during intercourse), dysmenorrhea (painful periods), headaches and/or migraines, acute lower back strain or chronic pelvic pain, our experienced practitioners will use a variety of gentle techniques to help reduce and relieve pain and improve movement. Then through education on breathing techniques, movement practices, nutritional advice and lifestyle changes they will aim to prevent reoccurrence of the injury.
